WITNESSETH, RECITALS: The City desires to renew the crossing surface at the existing crossing at Park Place (DOT# 672918F) to which the Railroad is agreeable, but solely upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth. AGREEMENT: NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and of the promises and conditions set forth in this agreement, and the attached "EXHIBIT", the parties hereto agree as follows: 1. The Railroad shall, subject to the reimbursement provided in this agreement, furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for crossing rehabilitation including the installation of concrete panels at the above location. 2. The City agrees to pay the entire cost of all materials, labor and equipment which shall be payable upon Railroad notification to the City that the project is completed. The City also agrees to provide necessary traffic control or temporary road closure and detour that may be necessary, haul off of asphalt and concrete spoils only, and furnish of asphalt tie in on both sides of RR crossing The Ci y 's participation is limited to .$41,647.47. Costs in excess of $41,647.47, if any, will require additional City authorization before payment can be made. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have duly executed thi written. Worth Office Haltom City, TX 75120 Phone (817) 834-4787 Fax (817) 834-4049 RE: Park Place CROSSING — FT WORTH SUBDIVISION Dear Mr. Guido, Trac-Work, Inc proposes to furnish all equipment, labor, supervision, flagman, line locates, materials and insurance necessary to peiform the following non-taxable road crossing replacement on Park Place m Fort Worth, Texas BID # 1- Renew crossing Trac-Work, Inc. proposes to renew the existing crossing using new precast concrete crossing panels with rubber inserts using 7' x 9"x 9' ties TWI will excavate the old track and ballast down 8' below the bottoms of the ties install filter fabric and new track ballast Then construct the new track back using the #1 relay rails welded, new ties, spikes, bolts and washers The track will be raised and tamped up to proper elevation using an on -rail tamper. TWI will dispose of all old track materials. Materials Labor and equipment TOTAL COST THIS PROPOSAL $ 28,452.90 $ 13,194.57 $ 41,647.47 City of Fort Worth will provide the following for the duration of the proiect: • Traffic control for two day shutdown • Haul off of asphalt & concrete spoils only • Furnishing of asphalt tie in on both side of RR crossing for a smooth transition. Materials: New 7"x 9"x 9' crossties 73 each, 43 ea. under the crossing and 15 ea outside each end New track spikes 4 kegs 4.5 tons of #1 Relay 115 lb rail 4 theiniite welds New track ballast: 50 tons New concrete crossing panels 64 foot including rubber flange way filler 64' of 10 Ounce filter fabric Within this proposal we have not provided for: 1 The furnishing or installing of any drain pipes or gauge rods. Not required. 2 The furnishing of any performance or payment bonds. 3 The performance of any sub -grade work or installing sub -ballast. 4 The furnishing of any other materials other than listed above. 5. The perfoiniance of any barricading and/or traffic control. 6. The performance of any relocation and/or installation of any railroad signals and/or signal work. If required it will be completed by FWWR. 7 The perfoumance of any striping and/or roadways signs. This bid is based on straight time, non -union labor and is good for 30 days.
