HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 42076-A24MENDMENT No. TO CITY SMRETARY CONTRACT WELIMAAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Pacheco Koch Consulting 1! ngineers , Inc., (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contact No. 42076, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by MC C=25000 on the 7th day of July, 2011 in the amount of $204,749,00; and rp;ItrY R iA Y comer vnummwmAn, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by: Amendment Number 1 in the amount of $6, 935 . 00 which was administratively authoried on January 28, 2013; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services ces or the following project: Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Contract 79; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised b _ fee. NOW THEREFORE, CI EY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT `i. Article 1 of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a proposal dated March 19, 2013, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the �ddi ti ©nal design services to be performed by Engineer totals $15,500G00. 2. Article 1 1 of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $227,184.00. These additional services are required due to the need to make requested changes to the downstream alignment and junction box location on M-102R as discussed in the meeting with the Parks Department as part of the Park Conversion. • This Engineering Services Contract Amendment includes a detailed scope of additional services attached to this letter. Pacheco Koch proposes to provide the attached scope of additional services for the lump sum total of $15,500.00. All the additional services proposed will be performed in accordance with the original contract dated August 3, 2011. This Amendment, consisting of one page; and the attached Additional Scope of Services and Compensation sections represent the entire amendment to the original agreement between the City of Fort Worth and Pacheco Koch. If the terms of this Amendment are acceptable, please indicate by acknowledging acceptance of the terms of this document.
