HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 43654-A1n SECRETARY i an cp. artmcy woo g9_teLof-4- FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 43654 CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES This First Amendment to City Secretary Contract No. 43654 ("First Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a home -rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager (the "City"), and Emma S. Walker, P.C., a Texas professional corporation, acting by and through its duly authorized President (the "Consultant"). WHEREAS, City and Consultant are parties to an agreement whereby Consultant is to provide professional services to the City in connection with completion of its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, the same being City of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 43654 ("Contract"); and WHEREAS, the Contract provides hourly rates for services provided by Emma S. Walker personally and for services provided by Consultant's other professional accounting staff; and WHEREAS, the Contract establishes that the maximum amount to be paid to Consultant is $45,000.00, which amount includes all expenses; and WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Contract to revise the fee structure by establishing an hourly rate for accounting technical staff and to increase the total maximum amount to be paid to Consultant to include the expense associated with accounting technical staff services; and NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant do hereby agree as follows: 1. That Section 2, "Compensation; Payment Schedule," of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 43654 is amended to delete subsection 2.1 in its entirety and replace it with a new subsection 2.1 to read as follows: 2.1 The maximum amount to be paid to Consultant for all services performed hereunder shall be $49,350.00, which shall include all expenses incurred by Consultant. 2. That Section 2, "Compensation; Payment Schedule," of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. First Amendment to CSC No. 43654 Page 1 of 2 • fay 1C1AL REcoff4 ,jij !i 0 1! tU1 c,„ r s_ trilf SECRETARY iI 43654 is amended to delete subsection 2.2 in its entirety and replace it with a new subsection 2.2 to read as follows: 2.2 Payment shall be made for work on the listed scope of services based on an hourly rate of $90.00 per hour for work performed by Emma S. Walker personally, $70.00 per hour for work performed by Consultant's other professional senior accounting staff, and $30.00 per hour for work performed by the designated accounting technical staff. 3. All other provisions of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 43654 that are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
