These additional services were requested by the City of Fort Worth, since there is a proposed paving project in the Angle Avenue intersection. The survey limits of the work are approximately 850' northwesterly along Angle Avenue, 450' easterly along West Long Avenue and 900' southeasterly along Angle Avenue. The water and sanitary sewer work are described below: • The replacement of 18" water line in West Long Avenue will be extended eastward approximately 450' from the west Right-of-Way of Angle Avenue to the projected east Right-of-Way of Columbus Avenue (ends before the lowering under Marine Creek). Connections will be made to the 6"line running north/south in projected Columbus Avenue. • The 8" water line in Angle Avenue running southeastward from West Long Avenue will not be replaced to the projected north Right-of-Way of Northwest 32nd Street. It appears that this line is a recent 8"PVC line that begins with a tie in to a line in Loving Avenue (either a 6"or a 24")just south of West Long Avenue, then follows Angle Avenue and turns southward into Columbus Avenue. There does not appear to be a water line in Angle Avenue from Columbus Avenue to the projected Northwest 321d Street. • There does not appear to be a water line running northwestward in Angle Avenue from West Long Avenue. There is a 6" water line in Prairie Avenue that crosses Angle Avenue extending into Marine Creek Park. This is outside the project limits and will not be replaced. • There also appear to be two water lines in Loving Avenue running north/south across the West Long Avenue and Angle Avenue intersection. One appears to be a 6" and then a 2" farther north. The other line is a 24". Both will be replaced across the intersection for about 150'. • There appears to be a 6" sewer (L-3062) in Prairie Avenue that seems to have already been replaced. 0:Uobs\15716-FTW Long Ave\Admin\Contract\Am 1\Amendment 1 Lztter.doc ARLINGTON • DALLAS • FORT WORTH - HOUSTON engineers - planners • surveyors • environmental scientists • landscape architects 515 Houston St., Ste. 751 • Fort Worth, TX 76102 • phone: 817-870-2422 •fax: 817-870-2489 •www.neel-schaffer.com Mr. Liam Conlon July 6, 2020 Page 2 • Sewer M-161 (a 12") crosses West Long Avenue just east of the West Long Avenue and Angle Avenue intersection. However it was recently replaced and is not included. • Sewer L-3093 (6") crosses Angle Avenue from Loving Avenue just southeast of the intersection and will be replaced for about 187' across Angle Avenue (but not south in Loving Avenue). • Main 161R (12") also crosses Angle Avenue just southeast of there, but again was recently replaced and is not included. This work will require approximately two new plan/profile sheets for the 24"water lines (which will also show the 8" water line in the intersection and one new plan/profile sheet for the sewer line.
