DISCUSSION: Texas Christian University (TCU), the developer, has executed a private construction contract for the installation of community facilities to serve a student housing development located within its campus (see attached map). The City required the water main to be oversized up to 16-inch from existing eight-inch/12-inch. The total construction cost for the improvements for this development is $360,529.00. The Amendment is for City participation for the construction of the 16-inch water main in the amount of $161,895.00 to improve the service to TCU and the surrounding area. The Developer's estimated cost for water improvements are subject to construction inspection and material testing fees.
