Their concern remains • the potential negative safety and operational implications of truck lane restrictions. The study will evaluate the separation of heavy-duty or three or more axle single trucks, light-duty trucks, single trailer, and multi- trailer vehicles through lane restrictions. Buses will not be included in this study. Traffic conditions will be evaluated over 30 days (full 24-hour periods) for each of the four phases: Data to be evaluated wfll include rates of fatalities, injuries, and citations; ramp queuing; travel speeds in each lane, and other factors deemed necessary by study partners. Data will be collected in terms of truck involvement, time of day, weather impacts, and other factors deemed necessary by study partners. The test sections for implementation are along the Inter-state 20 Corridor in Dallas County and Interstate 30 in Tarrant Counffiy. These will restrict heairy-duty, trucks from a single inside lane to test the aftemative to imprr ving traffic along sec ions of the Dallas-Fort. Worlh re-gion's firee-way system.
