<� IN MEMORIAM
Ludwig Bruno was born on November 12, 1947, in Germany.
He moved to Chicago, where he was educated and where in 1970,
he received an associate degree from the Chicago Academy of Fine
Arts.
Mr. Bruno was interested in serving his fellowman, and
this interest lead him into police work when he joined the Fort
Worth Police Department in 1974.
On March 2, 1977, Officer Bruno succumbed to injuries
he received when struck by a hit-and-run driver.
He was a most courageous, fearless, and impartial public
servant. The City of Fort Worth has lost a most valuable City
employee, an officer who was highly respected by his co-workers
and all who knew him:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
That the City Council extend its utmost sympathy to the
members of Officer Bruno's family in their great loss.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Memorial be spread

upon the minutes of the Council and that a copy be furnished the
