HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 440 !~f IN MEMORIAM Mrs. Clarice Spurlock was a native of Thorndale, Texas, but spent most of her life in Fort Worth. Mrs. Spurlock served her people, her area, and her city, the City of Fort Worth, with unfailing devotion. Her services to her city included two years as a member of the City Council. Mrs. Spurlock passed from this life on April 24, 1977. She will be missed, but her good deeds, her courage, and her unselfish contributions to the City of Fort Worth will live and remain forever: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: That, in the passing of Mrs. Clarice Spurlock, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth mourns the loss of a woman who made significant contributions to the City and its people. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that, as a tribute, this memorial resolution be adopted by the City Council and be spread upon the minutes of the City Council and that a copy be furnished to the family of Mrs. Spurlock as an expression by the City Council members of their sympathy.
