Kayser, City Secretary With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the Fort Worth City Council Work Session to order at 12:34 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020, in the City Council Conference Room 290 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 1. Opening Remarks - Mayor Betsy Price and David Cooke, City Manager 2. Recommendations on Proposed Changes and Programs within the Police Department and the CCPD Budget—Chief Kraus Report was provided by Chief Kraus. Additionally, Deputy Chief Neil Noakes and Pastor Rodney McIntosh provided a briefing on the Group Violence Intervention Program. 3. Presentation on Options Concerning the Makeup of the CCPD Board—Denis McElroy Report was provided by Sr. Assistant City Attorney Denis McElroy. Update on Process and Schedule for Completing Final Recommendations Concerning Civilian Oversight—Kim Neal Report was provided by Police Oversight Director Kim Neal. 5. Briefing on Proposed Business Equity Ordinance—Christina Brooks Report was provided by Diversity and Inclusion Director Christina Brooks. 6. Recommendations on Process and Schedule for Completing Municipal Equity Plan—Christina Brooks Report was provided by Diversity and Inclusion Director Christina Brooks. 7. Update on Race and Culture Task Force Recommendations Implementation— Fernando Costa Report was provided by Assistant City Manager Fernando Costa. Additionally, Director of TPW William Johnson, provided detailed information on TPW's work in Majority Minority Areas. S.
