AMENDMENT No. 1
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 53959
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Teague Nall and Perkins,
Inc. , (ENGINEER) , made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 53959,
(the CONTRACT) , which was authorized by M&C No. 20-0386 on the 16 day of
June, 2020 in the amount of $ 144, 000 . 00 (One hundred Forty-Four Thousand
Dollars) ; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the
following project:
Sycamore Park Phase I Project; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a scope of services proposal, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein (Attachment A) . The
cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by
Engineer totals $80,000. 00 (Attachment B) .

Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $224,000. 00.
3 .
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly
amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mrs. Yang:
Teague Nall and Perkins, Inc. is submitting this fee Amendment for the above referenced contract
based on additional services requested. The following is a brief description and cost for the
additional services to be provided on this project:
I. Playground and Trails
Per the Sycamore Park master plan, the City has identified available funds for the
construction of the trail improvements and the playground on the southside of Vickery
Boulevard. The trail improvements will consist of trails around the playground, replacing
trails north of the creek, and along the planned parking lot and drive improvements south of
the creek. TNP will provide surveying, engineering and landscape services for the additional
design,and will utilize sub consultants for the geotechnical and subsurface utility designation.
II. Fee Proposal for Contract Amendment No. 1: $ 80,000
TNP proposes a total fee of$80,000 to accomplish the scope of services. A breakdown of
the fee is included in Attachment B-1.

Revised Contract Amount $ 224,000
III. Project Schedule
The anticipated duration of the additional design services is 3 months. See Attachment D-1

IV. M/WBE Utilization:
This amendment includes work effort for our certified SBE subconsultant partners. With this
amendment, the overall M/SBE participation will be 8%which is in line with the City's M/SBE
goal of 8%.

Compensation
The services for Contract Amendment No. 1 shall be provided for a total lump sum fee of
$80,000 (Eighty Thousand Dollars). The overall fee total shown shall not be exceeded
without prior written authorization from the CITY.
Payment for the services described in Contract Amendment No. 1 shall be invoiced to
the CITY on a monthly basis, based upon percentage completed for each task. Below is
a fee breakdown by task for the services described in Attachment A Scope of Services:
