Kayser, City Secretary With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the Fort Worth City Council Work Session to order at 8:31 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 1. Fort Worth CARES Emergency Household Assistance Program and NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) Assistance Program -Victor Turner,Neighborhood Services Mr. Victor Turner, Neighborhood Services Department, briefed the Council on the Fort Worth CARES Emergency Household Assistance Program and the NGO Assistance Program. Mayor Price recessed the City Council Work Session at 9:59 a.m., and reconvened at 10:54 a.m. 6. Presentation on 2020 Reading Instruction Program Results—Gleniece Robinson, City Manager's Office Dr. Gleniece Robinson, City Manager's Office, provided a brief presentation on the 2020 Reading Instruction Program results. Mayor Price recognized Dr. Robinson for her work on the Reading Program and her pending retirement. 7. Briefing on City Website Improvements -Michelle Gutt, Communications and Public Engagement Ms. Michelle Gutt, Communications and Public Engagement Department, provided a brief presentation on the City website improvements. 8. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports Council Member Bivens - Request for Task Force with citizens on panhandling Council Member Flores - Update from Chancellor of Tarrant County College District There being no further business, Mayor Price adjourned the meeting at 11:48 a.m. These minutes approved by the Fort Worth City Council on the 20th day of October, 2020.
