AN ORDINANCE ADJUSTING RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN
THE WATER & SEWER BOND 2020A FUND BY DECREASING
RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE UNSPECIFIED PROJECT
(CITY PROJECT NO. UNSPEC) IN THE AMOUNT OF $252,575.00 AND
INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS IN THE CFA BUCKET (CITY
PROJECT NO. P00001) BY THE SAME AMOUNT TO FUND THE LAND
ACQUISITION FOR THE HANNA RANCH M-329 AND M-295
REPLACEMENT PROJECT (CITY PROJECT NO. 102152); PROVIDING
FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE
CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH,TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for Fiscal Year 2020-
2021 in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be adjusted receipts and appropriations in
the Water& Sewer Bond 2020A Fund by decreasing receipts and appropriations in the Unspecified
project (City Project No. UNSPEC) in the amount of$252,575.00 and increasing appropriations in
the CFA Bucket(City Project No.P00001)by the same amount to fund the land acquisition for The
Hanna Ranch M-329 and M-295 Replacement project(City Project No. 102152).
SECTION 2.
That should any portion,section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid,inoperative
or void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgment shall
in no way impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said
remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance 24446-09-2020 and all other ordinances and
appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance
are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said
conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

Sewer Replacement Project and Adopt Appropriation Ordinance
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the use of funds in the amount of$252,575.00 for land acquisition costs for the Hanna Ranch M-
329 and M-295 sanitary sewer replacement project and adopt the attached appropriation ordinance adjusting receipts and appropriations in the
Water&Sewer Bond 2020A Fund by decreasing receipts and appropriations in the Unspecified project(City Project No.UNSPEC)in the amount
of$252,575.00 and increasing receipts and appropriations in the CFA Bucket(City Project No.P00001)by the same amount to fund the land
acquisition for the Hanna Ranch M-329 and M-295 Replacement project(City Project No.102152).
DISCUSSION:
On June 25,2019 Mayor and Council Communication(M&C C-29177),the City Council authorized the execution of a design procurement
agreement(DPA) with Legends of Hanna Ranch Ltd.,with City Participation in the amount of$458,771.30 for the design of the Hanna Ranch M-
329 and M-295 Replacement project and to appropriate funds for project management,and real property staff cost.On March 3,2020(M&C 20-
0136),the City Council authorized the execution of Amendment No.1 to the DPA in the amount of$158,251.34 to fund costs associated with
Engineering services for additional sewer design and Infrastructure Plan Review Center(IPRC) plan review fees for increased project limits for M-
329 extended west to Wichita Street.
The additional appropriations in this M&C will fund costs associated with land acquisitions.

FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Director of Finance certifies that upon approval of the above recommendation and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance,funds will
be available in the Water&Sewer Bond 2020A Fund for the CFA Bucket programmable project which will in turn fund for the land acquisition in the
Hanna Ranch M-295 Replacement project. Prior to any expenditure being incurred,the Water Department has the responsibility to validate the
availability of funds.
