CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION MEETING

With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the the Fort
Worth City Council Work Session to order at 3:02 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020,
in City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street,
Fort Worth, Texas.
1. Report of the City Manager- David Cooke, City Manager
a. Changes to the City Council Agenda
M&C 20-0880 will be withdrawn from the Consent Agenda and continued to January
12, 2021.
M&C 20-0862 will be withdrawn from the Consent Agenda for individual
consideration; Council Member Jordan will recuse.

M&C 20-0907 the public hearing will be opened, the staff report will be provided the
Council will hear any public comment, and the M&C will be continued to December
15, 2020.
M&C 20-0860 will be withdrawn from the agenda and will be brought back on a future
agenda.
b. Upcoming and Recent Events
Council will not meet next Tuesday, December 8, 2020. The next meeting and last
meeting of the year will be December 15, 2020.

2. Current Agenda Items - City Council Members
Council Member Moon addressed concern with Zoning Docket ZC-20-124 and staff s
recommendation for approval of multi-family at the intersection of Hwy 287 and I35. He
added that staff needed to look at what is the highest and best use for commercial-retail
area that is growing by leaps and bounds when other retail development is not. He
suggested that the Council reevaluate staff s recommended approval of the rezoning.
