Pursuant to our discussion in your office earlier today, please accept this letter as my
proposal to extend our current traffic signal timing on -call services contract to continue
my current work on the following front - burner signal timing projects you've recently
assigned me:
1. Further refinement of University Blvd. signal operations, including the sequence
revision at Vickery and Rhythm offline fallback at Colonial;
2. Finishing the progression lineup of Beach St. from 121 Through Scott;
3. Development & implementation of the improved sequences at the 1 -20 &
James /Crowley compound diamond interchange;
4. Progression development along 8th Ave., Cleburne and McCart, including our
sequence improvement project at 8th & Cooper/Terrell;
5. Development of further improvement measures for University, 7th St., Camp
Bowie and Bailey;
6. Other projects as subsequently assigned by your office.
For these services I propose to adjust my billing rate to $ 175.- per hour, include all
related auto mileage therein. Per the calculations we discussed, I expect this extension
to increase the amount of the contract by 133 hours, or about $ 23,275.-
Please review this proposal and advise me of any adjustments you need me to make.
Thanks,
Gerry de Camp, P.E., PTOE
