AUTHORIZING M&C NO.
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Pulte Homes of Texas, L.P., (Developer) entered into a
Community Facilities Agreement, City Secretary Contract No. 45131 ("CFA"); and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to the CFA to allow City
participation in an amount not to exceed $86,063.50 for the City's portion of costs associated with
construction of Basswood Boulevard contemplated by the CFA; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized execution of Amendment No. 1 to the CFA on the
day of 4L\p ` , 2014 via M&C j F �;"l3 .
NOW THEREFORE, City and Developer, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CFA:

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations in
the Special Assessments Fund in the amount of $86,064.00 from available funds;
2. Authorize the transfer in the amount of $86,064.00 from the Special Assessments Fund to the
TPW CFA Fund
3. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimatedireceipts and appropriations in
the TPW CFA Fund in the amount of $86,064.00 from available funds; and
4. Authorize the execution of Amendment No. 1 to City Secretary Contract No. 45131, a Community
Facilities Agreement with Pulte Homes of Texas L.P. to add city participationin, an amount not to
exceed $86,064.00 for the construction of the two Eastbound Ianes;of,Sasswood Boulevard from
Almondale Drive to Candler Drive to serve the future phase of West Fork ,Ranch.
DISCUSSION:
The City participation funds for this section of Basswood Boulevard were collected with the Future
Improvements Agreement, City Secretary Contract No. 36288 for Santa Fe Enclave Phase II, which
is adjacent to the lanes being constructed by Pulte Homes of Texas, L.P. (Pulte). Due to the timing of
development in this area, it has become necessary for Pulte Homes, the developer of West Fork
Ranch to complete this section of Basswood Boulevard rather than waiting for the City to construct
it. Pulte's total construction costs including inspection and material testing fees are $412,503.40.
This project is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 2, Mapsco 35N.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Financial Management Services Director certifies that upon approval of the above
recommendations and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance;+funds will be available in the
current capital budget as appropriated of the TPW CFA Fund.
