The Fiscal Year 2013 cost of service studies identified a need for an increase in retail revenue requirements. A wastewater rate of $2.50 ($.09 increase) per 100 cubic feet was determined appropriate for all industrial monitored class wastewater accounts. The new rate was incorporated into the City Ordinance #20405-09-2012 on 18 September 2012 and will take effect 01 January 2013, The City's fresh water rate remains unchanged and will reflect 2012 pricing. Accounts at $2.50 effective O1 January 2013: 574173-277906 574173-277908 574173-277910 574173-277916 574173-277918 574173-277920 547173-278052 Account 574173-277908 was miscategorized as an Industrial Monitored Meter and a premium rate was applied. This incorrect rate was caught and the City will be charging the Government the same Monitored Group rate of $2.50 from the next billing cycle forward. An adjustment dating back two (2) years will be applied to a future bill as a credit. CNIC account 1096959-277914 is a fireline freshwater account and will remain unchanged from 2012 pricing.
