HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 486 ' RESOLUTION FILE NO. _ gL RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON AUGUST 9, 1977, AT 9:30 A.M. , FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE PROPOSED CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE NO. 3011, WHICH IS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, AND PRO- VIDING THAT SAID HEARING MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY UNTIL EVERY INTERESTED PARTY AND CITIZEN HAS HAD A FULL OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, That at 9:30 o'clock A.M. , Tuesday, August 9, 1977, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body of said City, will hold a public hearing In the Council Chamber at the Municipal Building for the purpose of considering changes and amendments to Ordinance No. 3011, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of said City. The ppurpose of said hearing is to determine whether or not said Ordinance No. 3011 should be amended so that the zoning classification of the following areas shall be changed as hereinafter specified. Z-77-76 8.09 acres situated in the William Masters Survey, Abstract No. 1048, situated about 8 miles north, 73° east, from the Courthouse in Tarrant County, Texas, and embracing a portion of a tract of land described in the deed to C. LeRoy Buie, et al, recorded in Volume 4823, page 313, Tarrant County Deed Records, situated north of Randol Mill Road; Beginning at a point in the west line of said Masters Survey in the east line of the P. Witt Survey, Abstract No. 1446, said point being the northwest cor- ner of a tract of land conveyed to S.R.O. Asphalt, Inc. by deed recorded in Volume 4144, page 171, Tarrant County Deed Records; Thence, N 0'9' W, along the common line of said Witt and Masters Surveys, 420.0 feet to a point in the approximate location of the 100-year flood line, contour elevation 497; Thence, N 62015' E, along said approximate 100-year flood line, 552.5 feet; Thence, N 81°40' E, continuing along said approximate 100-year flood line 123.33 feet; Thence, S 00°05130" E, 695.66 feet; Thence, N 89°57' W, 611.0 feet to the point of beginning and containing 8.09 acres of land. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution after adopted by the City Council when published in the official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth, which is a paper of general circulation, one (1) time, shall constitute a notice of hearing, which publication shall be made at least fifteen (15) days prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are urgently requested to be in the Council Chamber at the City Hall at the time hereinabove set forth to make any protest or suggestion that may occur to them, and this hearing may continue from day to day until every interested party and citizen has had a full oppor- tunity to be heard.
