KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF TARRANT )
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth is a home rule city lying
and being situated within the confines of the County of Tarrant,
State of Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Westover Hills is a city created under
the general laws of the State of Texas lying and being situated
within the confines of the County of Tarrant, State of Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth and the Town of Westover Hills
desire to reconstruct their boundary lines to facilitate the develop-
ment of property within their respective jurisdictions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Fort Worth and the Council of the Town of Westover Hills
that it is mutually agreed by and between Fort Worth and Westover
Hills:
That the following boundary realignments between Fort
Worth and Westover Hills as hereafter described is in the
best interests of the property owners anu inhabitants of
both cities and that Fort Worth and Westover Hills will
proceed with due diligence in adopting the necessary
annexation and disannexation ordinances adjusting their
respective corporate boundaries and all other proceedings
necessary to effectuate this agreement, and
That Fort Worth and Westover Hills do hereby covenant to
protect, preserve and defend the hereinafter describes
boundary realignment, and
That Fort Worth hereby agrees to discontinue from its
corporate boundary and to release all its jurisdictional
rights it may have in and to all territories embraced
within the area described by metes and bounds as follows:
(See Exhibits "A" and "A-l" attached hereto and

That Westover Hills hereby agrees to discontinue from its
corporate boundary and to release all jurisdictional rights
it may have in and to all territories embraced within the
area herein described by metes and bounds as follows:
(See Exhibits "B" and "B-1" attached hereto and
made a part hereof)
UK That Fort Worth hereby agrees to annex the pro erty dis-
annexed by the Town of Westover Hills and des

to annex the property disannexed by Fort Wort

the Town of Westover Hills each agree to ass rthe
rights and obligations appurtenant to the respective
properties which are annexed, and

That these terms and conditions set forth shall become
effective and binding on Fort Worth and Westover Hills by
the adoption of this Joint Resolution in regular open city
council meetings of both cities, and that this Joint Resolution,
upon adoption by both cities, shall be executed in several
originals and shall be spread in full on the Minutes of each
city. A copy of this Joint Resolution shall be executed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Secretary of each city,
