WHEREAS, the safety of the children of this City is foremost
in our minds and hearts; and
WHEREAS, the Fort Worth Fire and Police Departments always
have been a safeguard to protect the life and property of its
citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Fort Worth Fire and Police Departments have
been a positive influence on the children of the communities in
which they work: NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
That special recognition be given to those members of the
Fort Worth Fire acid Police Departments who generously gave of their
time and talents to make this Halloween a special fun-filled exper-
ience for the children; creating an atmosphere of entertainment
% unblighted by malicious conduct, and providing an outlet for
exuberance that otherwise might have been directed to damage of
property and personal injury. The Fort Worth Fire and Police
Department Personnel are to be commended for their contribution to
achieving another safe Halloween for the children and citizens of
Fort Worth.
