R E S O L U T I O N
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD
IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING IN
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON JANUARY 2, 1979, AT
7:30 P.M. , FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE PROPOSED
CHANGES AND AMEND14ENTS TO ORDINANCE NO. 3011, WHICH IS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING THAT
SAID HEARING MAY CONTINUE FROM DAY TO DAY UNTIL EVERY
INTERESTED PARTY AND CITIZEN HAS HAD A FULL OPPORTUNITY
TO BE HEARD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS,
That at 7:30 o'clock P.M. , Tuesday, January 2, 1979, the City Council of .
the City of Fort Worth, which is the legislative body of said City, will
hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at the Municipal Building for
the purpose of considering changes and amendments to Ordinance No. 3011,
the Comprehensive Zoning Plan Ordinance of said City. The purpose of said
^ hearing is to determine whether or not said Ordinance No. 3011 should be
amended so that the zoning classification of the following areas shall be
changed as hereinafter specified.
Z-78-092 BEGINNING at an iron rod for corner in the West line of the
ELIZABETH JONES SURVEY, said point being the Northwest corner of
a tract of land conveyed to Texas State Network, Inc. by deed
recorded in volume 2650 at page 396 of the Deed Records of
Tarrant County, Texas:
Thence N along the West line of said Elizabeth Jones Survey and
Jacob Brockman Survey, a distance of 603.7 ft. to an iron rod for
corner, said point being the SW corner of a tract of land
conveyed to Gorman Productions, Inc. by deed dated June 4, 1975
and recorded in volume 5840 at page 170 of the Deed Records of
Tarrant County, Texas;
Thence E, a distance of 360 ft. to a point for corner, said point
the SE corner of said Gorman Productions, Inc. tract;
Thence N along the East line of said Gorman Productions, Inc.
tract, James E. Balthrop tract, Bob Davis tract, and the
Gerald F. Schlager tract, a distance of 679.55 ft. to a point for
corner, said point being the NE corner of said Gerald F. Schlager
tract as described by deed dated June 4, 1975 and recorded in
volume 5840 at page 162 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County,
Texas;
Thence W along the North line of said Schlager tract, a distance
of 360 ft. to an iron rod for corner in the West line of said
Jacob Brockman Survey;
Thence North along the West line of said Jacob Brockman Survey, a
distance of 1125.90 ft. to a point for corner in the center of
the pavement of Randol Mill Road, whence a "Y" marked on the
North side of a pipe corner post bears South, 27.3 ft;
Thence along the center of the pavement of Randol Mils. Road, the

That the proposed amendments and changes and this hearing will be held in
accordance with the applicable provisions of Articles 1011A--1O11K of the
Revised Civil Statutes of Texas and the judgment of the District Court
in Cause No. 17-51586-78, styled Overcash Goodman Enterprises v. City
of Fort Worth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution when signed by the Mayor and
published in the official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth, which is
a paper of general circulation, one (1) time, shall constitute a notice
of hearing, which publication shall be made at least fifteen (15) days
prior to such hearing, and all interested parties are urgently requested
to be in the Council Chamber at the Municipal Building at the time
hereinabove set forth to make any protest or suggestion that may occur
to them, and this hearing may continue from day to day until every
interested party and citizen has had a full opportunity to be heard.
