THE STATE OF TEXAS §
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF TARRANT §
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth is a home rule city lying
and being situated within the confines of the County of Tarrant,
State of Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City of Crowley is a city created under the
general laws of the State of Texas lying and being situated
within the confines of the County of Tarrant, State of Texas;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth and the City of Crowley
desires to reconstruct their boundary lines to facilitate the
development of property within their respective jurisdictions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Fort Worth and the Council of the City of Crowley that
it is mutually agreed by and between Fort Worth and Crowley:
That the following boundary realignment between Fort Worth
and Crowley as hereafter described is in the best interests
of the property owners and inhabitants of both cities and
that Fort Worth and Crowley will proceed with due diligence
in adopting the necessary annexation and extraterritorial
jurisdictional release ordinances adjusting their respective
corporate boundaries and all other proceedings necessary to
effectuate this agreement, and
That Fort Worth and Crowley do hereby covenant to protect,
preserve and defend the hereinafter described boundary
realignment, and
That Fort Worth hereby agrees ' to release all its
jurisdictional rights it may have in and to all territories
embraced within the area as shown on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof and described by metes and
bounds as follows:

BEGINNING at a point in the west line of the B. Pool Survey,
Abstract No. 1243 located approximately 430 feet south of the
northwest corner of the B. Pool Survey, Abstract No. 1243;
THENCE South along the west line of the B. Pool Survey and the
east line of the H. Riddle Survey, Abstract No. 1329 a distance
of 133.22 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 89*51' West a distance of 361.5 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE South a distance of 361.5 feet, more or less, to a point
for corner in the south line of the said H. Riddle Survey, also
being the north line of the A. Fernandez Survey, Abstract No.
506, and the north line of County Road No. 1018;
THENCE South 89*51' West along the south line of the said H.
Riddle Survey a distance of 510.3 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 0'15' East a distance of 2462.8 feet, more or less,
to a point for corner in the south line of County Road No. 1082;
THENCE North 89058' West a distance of 220 feet, more or less,
to the northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to the First
Baptist Church of Crowley by a deed recorded in Volume 5791,
Page 225 in the Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE South 0'53' East along the west line of the said Church
tract a distance of 545 feet, more or less, to a point for corner;
THENCE South 89058' East along the south line of the said Church
tract a distance of 748.44 feet, more or less, to a point in the
west line of F.M. Highway No. 1187, said point also being the
southeast corner of the said Church tract;
THENCE North 0021' East along the west line of F.M. Highway No.
1187 and the east line of the said Church tract a distance of
485 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 89°53' East and parallel to the north line of
County Road No. 1082 a distance of 285 feet, more or less, to
the most westerly southwest corner of the present City Limits
line to the City of Crowley;
THENCE Northerly along the west City Limits line of the City of
Crowley projected north a distance of 2900 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning, and containing approximately 60.4
acres, more or less.
That Crowley hereby agrees to release all jurisdictional
rights it may have in and to all territories embraced within
the area as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
part hereof and described by metes and bounds as follows.
BEGINNING at a point which is a steel rod found at a fence
corner for the southwest corner of Jose A. Gill Survey Abstract
No. 568 and an ell corner of Moses Walters Survey, Abstract No.
1598;
THENCE, with a fence line, South 0025153" West 887.26 feet to a
point in the northwest curved right-of-way of a proposed 120
foot wide road, having a radius point which bears South
61007154" East 8387.49 feet, said Northwest right-of-way is a
Northwest boundary for the City of Crowley;
THENCE around the arc of said curved right-of-way and the City
of Crowley Boundary line to the left and in a Southwesterly
direction 1854.71, feet to a point in a fenced East-West line
common to said Walters Survey and Beverly Pool Survey, Abstract
No. 1243;
THENCE South 89059'50" East, 700 feet, more or less to a point
for corner;
THENCE North 0025153" East a distance of 1700 feet more or less
to the point of beginning and containing 19 acres more or less.

That Fort Worth hereby agrees to annex the property released
by the City of Crowley and described herein and the City of
Crowley hereby agrees to annex the property released by Fort
Worth herein described, and the City of Fort Worth and the
City of Crowley each agree to assume the rights and
obligations appurtenant to the respective properties which
are annexed, and
That these terms and conditions set forth shall become
effective and binding on Fort Worth and Crowley by the
adoption of this Joint Resolution in regular open city
council meetings of both cities, shall be executed in
several originals and shall be spread in full on the Minutes
of each city. A copy of this Joint Resolution shall be
executed by the Mayor and attested by the City Secretary of
each city.
