With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the Fort Worth City
Council Retreat to order at 8:32 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at the New City Hall, Second
Floor Conference Room, 100 Energy Way, Fort Worth, Texas.
Mayor Price and City Manager David Cooke provided opening remarks.
The Council had discussion on the following items:
Background and Retreat Objectives - David Eisenlohr, Managing Director, Baker Tilly US, LLP
Growth Trends and Discussion - Mark McAvoy, Planning and Data Analytics Director
Issues Affecting Fort Worth in the Post-CIVID World—David Eisenlohr
Issue # 1: Development followed by Council Discussion—Dana Burghdoff, Assistant City
Manager; Robert Sturns, Economic Development; Mark McAvoy, Planning and Data Analytics;
and D.J. Harrell, Development Services Director.
Issue 42: Budget followed by Council Discussion—Fernando Costa, Assistant City Manager,

Council broke for lunch at 12:00 noon and reconvened at 12:30.
