CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION MEETING

With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Pro-tem Jordan called the
Fort Worth City Council Work Session to order at 3:01 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2,
2021, in City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas
Street, Fort Worth, Texas.

City Manager David Cooke called on Richard Casarez, Vice President and Jim Greer,
Chief Operating Officer with Oncor to give the Council an update on the electricity
issues from the Winter Storm in February.
Mayor Price arrived at 3:25 and took over the Chair.

9. Briefing on Community WiFi Project Update —Kevin Gunn, IT Solutions
This item was moved to the March 9, 2021 Work Session.
10. City Council Requests for Future Agenda Items and/or Reports
Council Members Flores and Allen Gray - information on who maintains the areas under
bridges.
Council Member Byrd - Report on cyber security for the water system.
Council Member Bivens - Codes response to continued lack of water in apartment
complexes and resultant health issues.
Council Member Allen Gray - Can the cap of$175,000 on home values for the
emergency repair program be raised? -Note: M&C 21-0167 on the March 2, 2021,
Council Agenda recommended temporarily raising the program's maximum eligible home
value from$175,000 to $300,000. The M&C was approved.
11. Executive Session (CITY COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL,
ROOM 2020 formerly Room 290) - SEE ATTACHMENT A
There being no further business to come before the City Council Mayor Price adjourned
the meeting at 5:38 p.m.
