The concrete traversed through L-3021 and into other connecting sewer laterals, thereby significantly reducing theii• capacity, causing the overflow, Under the September 21, 2020 Emergency Authorization Memorandum (copy attached), William J. Schultz, Inc. dba Circle C Construction Company ("Circle C") was engaged for the replacement of the sanitary sewer mains (CSC 54533) with emerge�icy engineering/design performed by Kimley-Horn and Associates, Tnc. ("KHA") under CSC 54532. To facilitate the repan•s, cei�tain water lines wei•e also required to be relocated. The emergency worlc was estimated to be $1,922,475.00; Construction; $1,710,000.00 (Wafer: $1,100,000.00; Sewer: $610,000,00); Engineei•ing: $212,475.00 (Water: $148,728.00; Sewei•: $63,747.00). As construction has progressed, acival �eld conditions have necessitated increased quautities of water and sanitaiy sewei• items than originally anticipated. in addition, TXDOT has now requii•ed that a reinfoi•ced concrete subgrade to match the existing subgrade be installed for pavement repair subsequent to water and sewer replacement instead of the non-reinforced concrete subgrade that was originally approved. This memorandum provides for the following: • Additional construction costs in the anticipated amount of $1,039,993.00 (Water: $895,375.00; Sewer: $1A4,618,00} due to actual field conditions that were encountered during constrtiction and TXDOT i•equirements. A confirming M&C will be circulated to ratify the above contracts after the worlc has been fully performed.
