With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the Fort Worth
City Council Work Session to order at 3:01 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in City
Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall , 200 Texas Street, Fort
Worth, Texas .
1. Report of the City Manager -David Cooke, City Manager
a. Changes to the City Council Agenda
M&C 21-0232 will be removed from Consent for a speaker.
Council received an updated Resolution for M&C 21-0243 removing the Pipeline Rd.
project.

c. Organizational Updates and Employee Recognition(s)
Assistant City Manager Dana Burghdoff announced that Library Director Manya
Shorr was named Library Director of the Year for Texas. Ms. Shorr announced that
the Amplify 817 project was also given an award by the Library association.
Kelli Pickard, Park and Recreation announced that the Log Cabin Village received the
Lone Star Legacy award for 2021.

Council Member Allen Gray -update on how departments get ITS services for new
employees and why it took 90 days for an NPO to get a city cell phone.
Council Member Bivens -Traffic study/report on the 3300 -3800 blocks of E .
Berry. How can safety be improved to prevent another fatality accident.
Council Member Moon -requested that the city pursue an opportunity to obtain fill dirt
for the old landfill site near Gateway Park so that the site can be developed .
