Staff also generates a monthly report to keep the Cou ncil informed of the volume of development activity, process improvements and staff’s performance in implementing changes and improving the delivery of plan review and permits. This activity report consists of metrics associated with building permits, infrastructure, stormwater development, and water development plan review. It provides updates on continuous development process improvement efforts. The monthly Development Activity Report is attached for your use and information. This is up from 81.94% in February 2021 which had 59 out 72 responses. It is designed to help the public navigate zoning districts and building permit processes. There are three modules: zoning, residential, and commercial. Each module walks the citizen/ developer through a series of interactive questions that leads to a printed permit guide for a project. The platform will simplify the permit discovery process and provide applicants with the information they need when they need it.  The project team is addressing post- launch action items.  Staff is also creating training videos to address the following: 1. Navigating the three portals in CFW Permit Assist: Zoning, Commercial and Residential 2. How to assist customers and navigate the administrative side of CFW Permit Assist 3. How to publicize and educate customers on CFW Permit Assist 4. As part of the process, kick-off meetings and subsequent data gathering meetings have been held to discuss the initiative with all stakeholders including both the development community and staff.  In March two Voice of Customer (the development community) and two Voice of Business (City staff) meetings were held. Additional meetings will be held in April. The platform will simplify the permit discovery process and provide applicants with the information they need when they need it. Staff continues to work on streamlining and adding permit processes online. o Staff has updated the fee schedule in Accela, it went live in April 1st. o Drainage study permit is available in Accela for staff and customers.  Development Services continues to hold virtual Board and Commission meetings. This will continue to provide a high level of transparency for City business while encouragi ng public participation and engagement. Please contact D.J. Tarrant County Interlocal Agreement (1 in progress) Update the 2008 Inter Local Agreement with Tarrant County regarding plat approval jurisdiction in the City of fort Worth's ETJ Development Services, TPW, and Legal Staff is waiting on an update to the first draft of the Tarrant County Subdivision Ordinance from Freese & Nichols School Site Development Guide (1 in progress) To provide ISDs, Charter Schools, and Private Schools with a guide to developing school sites in the City. Offering direction and insight for new school construction, expansions/ additions, and remodels Development Services, Fire, Water, TPW, and Neighborhood Services Project Lead will complete the final draft for approval by April 30, 2021. After discussing results with management, the process improvement has been expanded to include payment process for Misc.
