SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION
APRIL 20, 2021
After proper notice given pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act, Mayor Price adjourned the
City Council Work Session meeting of the Fort Worth City Council at 9:38 a.m. on Tuesday,
April 20, 2021, to convene into the Special City Council Meeting for the closed Executive
Session in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth Municipal Building.

After proper notice given pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act, with a quorum of the City
Council Members present, the Fort Worth City Council convened into closed Executive Session
at 9:39 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort
Worth Municipal Building to discuss matters pertaining to the following:
A. The City Council will conduct a closed meeting in order to discuss matters permitted by the
following sections of C hapter 551 of the Texas Government Code:

1 Section 551.071 , CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY
To seek the advice of its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation , settlement offers , or
any matter in which the duty of the attorney to the City Council under the Texas Disciplinary
Rule s of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts w ith the Texas Open
Meetings Act. [Tex. Govt. Code §551.071]:
a. Legal issues concerning any item l isted on today 's City Council meeting agenda;

1. Section 551.072 , DEL IB ERATIONS REGARDING REAL PROPERTY
Deliberate the purchase , sale, lease or valu e of real property where deliberation in an open
meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the City in negotiations with a third
party .
2. Section 551.087 , D ELIB ERATIONS REGARDING ECONOM IC DEVELOPMENT
NEGOTIATIONS
Deliberate the commercial or financial information or the offer of a financial or other incentive
to a business prospect.
B. The City Counci l may reconvene in open session in the City Council Conference Room and
act on any item listed on the Executiv e Session Agenda in accordance with Chapter 551 of the
Texas Local Government Code.
The Council recessed Executive Session at 9 :4 6 a .m.
The Counci l reconvened in Executive Sessio n at 10:46 a.m.
Dana Burghdoff arrived at 11 :06 a.m .
With no further business to be conduct ed , Mayor Price adjourned the meeting at 11 :07 a .m. on
Tuesday , April 20 , 2021.
