WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Jacobs Facilities, Inc. (Architect) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 33230(The Contract)which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-21 271
the 24th day of January, 2006;and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Architect for additional design services to
install two ITS conduits from the Fort Worth Convention Center to the new Parking Garage, and to
evaluate the water demands (domestic and fire flow) for the Parting Garage and the Omni Hotel as part
of the design services agreement;and
NOW THEREFORE, City and Architect, acting herein by and through their duly authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article 1.1 t SECTION I —SEFVICE S OF THE ARCHITECT,two paragraphs are added to read as follows:
"Provide additional design services to install two ITS conduits from the Fort Worth Convention
Center to the new Parting Garage for the City network access service. The cost of this additional
service is .00. The scope of services is described more fuller in the Jacobs letter dated
May 31, 2007, subject: City of Fort Forth Convention Center Paring Garage, Proposal for
Additional IT-Related Design Services, Project No. F W71 boo, which is attached hereto as
Attachment"A"and made a pant of this Agreement.0
"Provide additional design services to evaluate the water demands (domestic and fire flow) for
the Parking Garage and the Omni Hotel. The cost of this additional service is 11, . 0. The
scope of services is described more fuller in the Jacobs letter dated June 20, 2007, subject: City
of Fort forth Convention Center Parking Garage, Proposer for Water Distribution System
Modeling for the Omni Hotel and Fort Worth Convention Center Parking Garage, Project No.
F111 boo,which is attached hereto as Attachment"B"and made a pant of this Agreement."
Paragraph 1 of SECTION V-COMPENSATION TO ARCHITECT, is amended as follows:
"The total compensation for all of the assignments to be performed by Architect as described in
CHARACTER AND EXTENT of ARCHI'TECT'S SERVICES hereof shall be a fixed fee of
$1,252,378.00, hereinafter referred to as the `total fee," plus up to $30,000 in reimbursable
expenses,"

All other provisions of this Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.

Proposal for Additional IT-Related Design Services
Dear Glenn:
Per your request,we are pleased to submit our proposal for providing additional professional services to
the City of Fort Worth for the Convention Center Parking Garage project. Following you will find an
itemi ed discussion of our understanding of the project scope, schedule, and fee requirements.
SCOPE of SERVICES
Our services will include coordination and creation of construction documents for two 2-inch
diameter conduits from the Garage CFW Telecom Room 110 to the second floor of the
Convention Center. Specific tads included are as follows:
• Attend coordination meetings with Thomas S. Byrne to allow pricing to be developed
prior to the preparation of construction documents.
• Review record documents provided by the City of Fort Worth.
• hake a site visit to vedfr existing conditions at the Convention Center.
• Create drawings to show routing and details of conduit installation from the garage to
the second floor of the Convention Center.
SCHEDULE
We can begin on these additional services immediately upon being given a written notice to proceed
and will issue the revised Construction Documents to the City of Fort Worth within four weeks.

FEE
We propose to provide the above described services for a Lump Sum Fee of$8,5281,including all
direct costs. The following Is a detailed breakdown of the proposed fee. Please note the hourly
rates shown below are those included in our original contract increased by 4 peroent in accordance
with the rate schedule.

COPE of SERVICES
Our services will include evaluation of the water demands(domestic and fire flow)of the Omni Motel �
and the Fort Worth Convention Center Parking Garage by use of water distribution system
computerized modeling on the lilts water system. Specifically,our services include:
I. Data Collection: Assimilate data on the proposed Motel and parking garage. Confirm water
utilities in the area with the City.
2. Water Demand: Calculate water demand(domestic and fire flow)for the parking garage and
Omni Hotel. Fire flow water demand shall be calculated based on the Fort Worth Fire Code,
Appendix B. The Omni Motel's water demands have been provided by the Hotel. �
3. Modeling Analysis:
a. The information gathered and analyzed will be used to incorporate the Omni Hotel and
Fart Worth Convention Center Parking Garage water demands into the Cib s hydraulic
water model.
b. Modeling v tt be in accordance with the city of Fort Worth's Water Model Submittal
Requirements dated November 2005.
4. Technical Memorandum
a. Prepare a technical memorandum containing project assumptions,,criteria for the
hydnaWic modeling,scenarios evaluated and the results of the evaluations. An exhibit
Y411 he provided showing the existing system with recommendations. Four copies of the
rat technical memorandum ovum wiH be proyided.
b. A meeting will be held with the City of Fort Worth to present the outcome of the water
system m d iing and address quests and comments. A final t chn at memorandum
will be issued incorporating comments from the m e ng. Five copies of the technical
memorandum and electronic fees of the memorandum and swap will be provided.

SCHEDULE
These additional services are already underway and a daft technical memorandum will be provided
the week of June 25,2007. Submittal of the final t chnicW memorandum virill be two weeks after
rewtving comments from the City.
