COUNTY OFT ARRANT § Hemphill Street Extension
BACKGROUND
CSC No. 49544-R2A2
1.Tarrant County ("COUNTY") and the City of Fort Worth ("CITY") entered into an
Interlocal Agreement (ILA) approved by Tarrant County Commissioners Court
Order No. 125738 for financial support of up to $23,000,000 through the Tarrant
County 2006 Transportation Bond Program for the Hemphill Street Extension
("Project") from Lancaster Avenue to West Vickery Boulevard.
2.The COUNTY and the CITY desire to renew and amend the ILA to continue
funding for the PROJECT.
Therefore, the COUNTY and the CITY agree to the following:
3.Section III (Term) is amended to read as follows:
This agreement will conclude on September 30, 2021 unless terminated soonerunder either Section IV or XIII of this agreement.
4.The COUNTY and the CITY agree to the revised payment schedule in Attachment
A of this Second Renewal and Amendment.
5.Except as amended above, all terms and conditions of the original ILA and
subsequent amendments remain in effect.
6.The COUNTY and the CITY acknowledge they are each a "governmental entity''
and not a "business entity" as those terms are defined in Texas Government Code
Section 2252.908, and therefore, no disclosure of interested parties is required.
