Mr. Warren W. McKeever, Bellaire House Ltd., and Mr. L. C. White, Vice- Chancellor of T.C.U., were in attendance at the meeting. Both expressed opposi- tion to the project. Mr. McKeever requested, with Mr. White concurring, that the Benefit Hearing be delayed 2 or 3 weeks in order to give the property owners an opportunity to get independent appraisals and to meet with their attorneys in an effort to prepare their cases properly before Benefit Hearing. Following the Neighborhood I'learing, Mr. White contacted the Assessment Paving Office by telephone and requested that it be known that Texas Christian University is in favor of the project and that they would pay their share of the cost for improvements. Mr. White also withdrew his request for a delay in Benefit Hearing.
