1. By this agreement, made as of 1 January 2012 between the
Commanding Officer, NAS Fort Worth JRB hereinafter called "the Lender"
and the City of Fort Worth, hereinafter called "the Borrower".
2. The Lender hereby loans to the Borrower one ship's anchor.
3. The Lender agrees to loan the above listed property on sub-custody
to the Borrower for a period of five years commencing Ol January 2012
and ending 1 January 2017, with an option for renewal, subject to the
stipulations as set forth below.
4. The Lender authorizes the Borrower to display the above government
property at the following location: Veterans Memorial Park, 4120 Camp
Bowie Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas.
5. The Borrower agrees to repair or replace, at the discretion of the
Lender, the borrowed item for any and all loss or damages that are
caused by the negligence or intentional misconduct of Borrower, its
agents, or employees and that may be inflicted on the ztem while the
life of the loan is in effect and/or until the loaned material is
returned to the physical custody of the Lender. The Borrower agrees
to be responsible for corrosion control and routine maintenance.
Corrosion control is the removal of rust, priming the surface and
painting. Routine maintenance would be repairing any damage and
overall painting, if needed. The color is to remain Navy gray.
6. The Borrower shall obtain no interest in the loaned property by
reason of this agreement and title shall remain in the Lender at all
times.

property. In addition, Borrower agrees to perform

8. The Borrower agrees to report bi-annually to the Lender on the
condition and location of the property. In addition, the Borrower
agrees to provide the Lender with a 4 x 6 color print of the loaned
property within (90) days of the initial execution of this agreement
and upon submission of the bi-annual certification statement. The
photograph shall depict (one full length photograph) enough detail to
identify the artifact.
9. The Borrower

agrees not to use the loaned property as security for
sell, lease, rent, lend, or exchange the property for
otherwise under any circumstances without the prior
of the Lender.
10. The Borrower agrees to allow authorized Lender representatives
access to the Borrower's records to assure accuracy of information
provided by the Borrower and compliance with the terms of this Loan
Agreement.
11. The Borrower agrees to return said property to the Lender on
termination of this Loan Agreement, or earlier, if it is determined
that the property is no longer required, at no expense to the Lender.
12. The failure of the Borrower to observe any of the conditions set
forth in this Loan Agreement shall be sufficient cause for the Lender
to repossess the loaned property. Repossession of the loaned property
by the Lender shall be made at no cost or expense to the Lender; the
Borrower shall defray all maintenance, freight, storage, crating,
handling, transportation, and other charges attributable to such
repossession.
13. Executed on behalf of the Lender, effective upon signature.
