$293,751.00 for the Edgehifl Drainage Improvements (COUNCIL DISTRICT 3)
RECOMMENDA710N:
{t is recommendetl thaf the City Council authorize execution of a contract with Woody Contractors,
Inc., in the amount of $293,751.00 for construction of the Edgehiff Drainage Improvements project.
DISCUSSION:
The constructian contract recommended by this Mayo� and Councii Communication is for the
,� instaltation of storm drain pipe, inlets, curb and gutter, and street improvements to correct street
flooding on Edgehill Road near Waveriy Way.

Costs for the implementation of this proj�t wili be funded by the Storm Water Capitai Projects Bond
Fund.
The project was advertised for bid on June 7, 2012 and June 14, 2012 in the Fort Worth Star
Telegram. On June 28, 2012, the following bids were received:
Funding in the amount of $8Q,000.00 is inciuded for assaciated constn.iction survey, project
management, materiais testing, and inspecticm. The contingency fund for possible change orders is
$14,687.55.
Woody Contractors, Inc., is in complianee with the City's M/WBE Ordinance by committing to 26
percent MMtBE participation. Th� City's goai on this project is 17 percent.
This project is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 3, Mapsco 74P and 74Q.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFlCATION:
The Financial Management Services Directo� certifies that funds are availabte in the current capital
budget, as appropriated, of the Storm Water Capital Projects Bond Fund.
