Due to the size of the structures, heavy equipment had to be mobilized to the job site to remove the top of the vaults to allow for access. Due to the location of the project site in the floodplain,the contractor had to wait several months for the site to dry to conduct the-repairs. In addition by-pass pumping was necessary at each of the junction structure locations in order to conduct the repairs.
