Gonzales, Acting City Secretary With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Parker called the City Council Work Session of the Fort Worth City Council to order 8:34 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in the City Council Conference Room 2020 of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas. 1. Report of the City Manager - David Cooke, City Manager a. Changes to the City Council Agenda City Manager Cooke advised that M&C 21-0441 will be withdrawn from consideration. He called on Assistant Police Chief Robert Alldredge to advise Council on why he will not provide his presentation on the cruising ordinance and what the plans are moving forward. City Manager Cooke advised that M&C 21-0582 is a donation and will be moved up on the agenda; Ms. Shawna Scrimshire from XTO will be present. Upcoming and Recent Events Open House scheduled for August 19, from 6-8 p.m., at Doxology Church, 4805 Arborlawn Drive. Individuals can meet city staff and learn how to get involved. The Unity Across the City event that was scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, August 22, at Dickie's Arena, has been cancelled (due to COVID concerns). c.
