Situated on nearly 28 acres,the Broadmoor at Western Hills includes 12 one-bedroom units,168 two-bedroom units,128 three-bedroom units,and 16 four-bedroom units along with a community clubhouse with amenities like business and fitness centers and laundry and mail facilities.The community also includes a playground,dog park,swimming pool,and has controlled access. THE BROADMOOR AT WESTERN HILLS 12 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 3 HOME $480,000.00 Villas on the Hill located 5713 Lincoln Terrace Drive,formerly Lincoln Terrace Apartments,included the acquisition,demolition of existing and reconstruction of the multifamily project with 72-units to improve the quality of housing for its residents ad to increase the number of quality affordable housing for low income residents in the City of Fort Worth. The current property includes 18 one-bedroom units,38 two-bedroom units,and 16 three-bedroom units along with a business center and playground area. VILLAS ON THE HILL 13 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 5 14 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 6 HOME $650,000.00 Hometowne at Matador Ranch is a 198-unit rental complex for active seniors located at 8500 Crowley Road.Community features include a swimming pool,putting greens,walking area,toddler playground,a computer lab and a fitness center. HomeTowne at Matador Ranch offers a lifestyle full of new friendships,activity and peace of mind.The overall design of the community creates a sense of small town village charm where residents can take advantage of living in the architecturally stylish three-story building design with elevator service and attached clubhouse. HOMETOWNE AT MATADOR RANCH 15 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 6 HOME $760,000.00 This project provided a construction loan to Fort Worth Housing Solutions for the acquisition/rehabilitation of this 216 multifamily unit apartment complex located at 7425 S.Hulen Street.Candletree Apartments includes 136 one bedroom units and 80 two bedroom units.Amenities include a swimming pool,fitness center, sport court and playground,as well as a business center with seven available computer stations. CANDLETREE APARTMENTS 16 COUNCIL DISTRICT 7 HOME $2,858,888.00 The Reserve at Quebec is a 296-unit multifamily development at 6655 Calgary Lane in northwest Fort Worth .This includes 60 one bedroom units,156 two bedroom units,and 80 three bedroom units.Amenities at the project include a clubhouse, swimming pool,and walking/jogging paths,as well as tenant supportive services. RESERVE AT QUEBEC 17 COUNCIL DISTRICT 7 HOME $291,000.00 Harmon Villas is a 150 unit multifamily rental development located on an approximately 14.549 acres site at 9592 Harmon Road,Fort Worth,TX 76177 Of the 150 units,there are 8 one bedroom units,82 two bedroom units,and 60 three bedroom units.Amenities include a sparkling pool, basketball cart,business center for residents with computer,fax and copier, playground,and activity center. The development consists of 164 one and two-bedroom units in which 115 are affordable and 49 are market rate. Community amenities include a theatre, community room,library,business center and fitness center. HUNTER PLAZA APARTMENTS 26 27 HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS (HOPWA) 28 Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Building Rehabilitation Completed July 2019 Our single-room occupancy (SRO)facility is a permanent housing environment for single men and women living with HIV/AIDS in a service enriched community of care providing 60 one-person units and supportive services.Qualifications:Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, living with HIV/AIDS,low income and homeless.Rent:Applicants are required to pay 30%of their annual adjusted income towards their rent.All utilities are included in the rent. SAMARITAN HOUSE SINGLE-ROOM OCCUPANCY UNITS HOPWA $341,406 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 9 29 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 2 CDBG $300,000.00 Northside Community Health Center is owned/operated by North Texas Area Community Health Centers (NTACHC), and was built to address increased community need.This project includes office space for staff and parking spaces. The health center offers primary health care,pediatric care, integrated mental health,comprehensive dental,pharmacy, medication management,vision services,patient education and health promotion. NORTH TEXAS AREA COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER 30 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 2 31 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 2 CDBG $1,850,000.00 The Marine Park Aquatic Center replaced an antiquated facility built in 1926.The previous pool had served inner-city families for decades,and it was time that they again had a place to swim,and perhaps more important,to learn to swim.Built to host 350 swimmers,the aquatic center includes a wading area with an interactive children's waterscape,a water slide,a 25-yard lap pool,a submerged deck with lounge chairs,shaded picnic tables,a Spanish-style bathhouse with restrooms and changing areas,vending machines and lockers. MARINE PARK FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER 32 COUNCIL DISTRICTS: 2, 4, and 9 33 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 2 CDBG $149,105.56 The Anderson-Campbell Park Playground Improvement Project provides neighborhood residents improved access to playground equipment and improve mobility and safety within the park.Improvements included the addition of ramps,and sidewalks/landings;playground equipment;and amenities such as benches and trash cans.The park is located 4141 Ohio Garden Road . ANDERSON-CAMPBELL PARK 34 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 2 CDBG $124,906.50 The purpose of the Diamond Hill Park Improvement Project was to provide increased amenities at the Park for neighborhood residents and youth from adjoining schools and community centers.Phase I of the Project included the purchase and installation of materials for the construction of a skate park.Funds remaining after the completion of Phase I were used to implement Phase II which included the purchase and installation of benches,picnic tables and shelter,and the installation of accessible walkways to serve the new improvements. DIAMOND HILL SKATE PARK 35 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 3 36 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 5 37 COUNCIL DISTRICT: 5 CDBG $142,305.11 The Sagamore Park Improvement Project included the replacement of playground equipment;the addition of ramps and sidewalks/landings;and amenities such as benches and trash cans which were permanently affixed.The purpose of this project is to provide neighborhood residents improved access to playground equipment within the neighborhood,as well as replace aging playground equipment. SAGAMORE PARK 38 CDBG $170,231.00 The CDBG funds for this project were used to partially fund the completion of the approximately 6,000 square foot building.North Texas Area Community Health Center (NTACHC)provides health services to residents of Southeast Fort Worth .Services offered include adult health,pediatric health, women’s health (OB/GYN and STD screening),and behavioral health,acute and chronic illness management,such as diabetes and hypertension,and preventative services including immunizations and routine examinations.
