STANDARD AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
SECOND ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL FACILITY

COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and Pierce Goodwin Alexander & Linville, Inc.,
(Consultant) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 50096 (The Contract)
which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-28439, the 17th day of December,
2016, for a New Second Animal Care and Control Facility; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the
design services agreement for additional design services.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the
Contract:

Article I — Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows:
(3) Provide additional design services for the Construction Administration. The cost
of this additional service is $40,000.00 plus $0.00 in reimbursable expenses. The
scope of services is described more fully in Pierce Goodwin Alexander & Linville,
Inc. Letter dated August 17, 2021 , subject: "Change of Services Amendment no.
04 — Add'I Construction Administration, CITY OF FORT WORTH SECOND
ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL FACILITY.

Article 11 — Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows:
"Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown
in Attachment "A". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor,
materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services
described in Attachment "A". However the total fee paid by the City shall not
exceed a total of $1 ,191 ,310.00 unless the City and the Consultant mutually
agree upon a fee amount for additional services and amend this Agreement
accordingly."

Change in Services Amendment No. 04-Addl Construction Administration
CITY OF FORT WORTH SECOND ANIMAL CARE&CONTROL FACILITY
This Additional Services Agreement is made as of the date above between PGAL (the
"Architect") and the City of Fort Worth (the"City","Client"and "Owner") for the
Second AnimaL Care&ControL Facility(the"Project").
This Additional Services Agreement incorporates the additional project scope and
services of the Architect described herein into the Agreement Between Client and
Architect dated December 28, 201 7,for this project(hereinafter referred to as the
"Original Agreement").
i.o ADDITIONAL PROJECT SCOPE AND SERVICES
1.1 Provide additional Construction Administration services for the project due
to the increase in project budget as well as the project duration exceeding
the 36 months included in the Original Agreement by more than 6 months.
This required additional design effort and coordination,several more
submittal reviews and approximately a dozen extra site visits.
2.0 PROFESSIONAL FEES
For these services,the Client shall compensate the Architect as follows:
2.1 Fixed Fee (excluding Reimbursable Expenses): $40,000
3.o MISCELLANEOUS
4.1 Unless otherwise stated herein,the terms and conditions of the Original-
Agreement shall prevail.
4.2 This Change in Service will be referenced and invoiced as'Additional-
Services for Increased CA".
