AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING PORTIONS OF DELORES STREET, NOWLIN STREET, GARVEY STREET AND ALLEYS LOCATED IN BLOCKS B, C, D, E, F, G AND K OF ISSAACS FOSTERS ADDTION, SITUATED IN THE FELIX G. MULLIKEN SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 1045, IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 106, PAGE 1 OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS AND CONTAINING COLLECTIVELY APPROXIMATELY 47,955 SQUARE FEET, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; THE RETAINMENT OF EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. 1. That a 10-foot wide alley, situated in the Felix G. Mulliken Survey, Abstract No. 1045 in the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, located in Block K, Isaac Foster's Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, as recorded in Volume 106, Page 1, of the plat records of Tarrant County, Texas, and containing 780 square feet or 0.018 acres of land, and as more specifically described in Exhibits A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished. 2. That portions of Delores Street, Nowlin Street and three 10-foot wide alleys, situated in the Felix G. Mulliken, Abstract No. 1045 in the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, located in Foster's Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, as recorded in Volume 106, Page 1, of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, a and containing 29,892 square feet or 0.686 acres of land, and as more specifically described in Exhibits A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished. 3. That all of Garvey Street, situated in Felix G Mulliken Survey, Abstract No. 1045, and the William H. Little Survey, Abstract No. 945, Tarrant County, Texas, located in Blocks E and D, Isaac Foster's Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 106, Page 1, and containing 9,896 square feet or 0.229 acres of land, and as more specifically described in Exhibits A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished. 4. That all of a 10-foot wide, situated in Felix G Mulliken Survey, Abstract No. 1045, Tarrant County, Texas, located in Block F, Isaac Foster's Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 106, Page 1, and containing 1,999 Delores, Nowlin, Garvey Streets and alleys Streets Ordinance No. (VA-18-007 and -036) Page 1 of 2 square feet or 0.045 acres of land, and as more specifically described in Exhibits A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished. 5. That all of a 10-foot wide alley, situated in Felix G Mulliken Survey, Abstract No. 1045, Tarrant County, Texas, located in Block C, Isaac Foster's Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 106, Page 1, and containing 2,767 square feet or 0.063 acres of land, and as more specifically described in Exhibits A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished. 6. That all of a 10-foot wide alley, situated in Felix G Mulliken Survey, Abstract No. 1045 and the Mitchell Baugh Survey, Abstract No. 106, Tarrant County, Texas, located in Block B, Isaac Foster's Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 106, Page 1, and containing 2,531 square feet or 0.058 acres of land, and as more specifically described in Exhibits A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above -described street right-of-way and public access easement is released and shall revert to the underlying fee owner as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all existing utility, traffic appurtenances and pedestrian easements shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense. SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.
