SUBJECT
Authorize Execution of a Contract with C. Green Scaping, LP, in the Amount of $407,330.00, for Brick Restoration Along Various streets.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the execution of a contract with C. Green Scaping, LP, in the amount of $407,330.00, for 2020
Brick Pavement Rehabilitation along various roads.
DISCUSSION:
In the Fiscal Year 2020 Pay -Go Contract Street Maintenance Program, various types of street maintenance are grouped into specific contract
packages. The 2020 Brick Pavement Rehabilitation contract provides for the repair and reconstruction of brick pavement along various roads
shown on the attached maps (City Project No. 102104).
Construction for this project is expected to start approximately October 2019 and to be completed by approximately April 2020. Upon completion
of the project there will be no anticipated impact on the general fund operating budget.
This project was advertised for bid on June 13, 2019 and June 20, 2019 in the Fort Worth Star -Telegram. On July 11, 2019, the following bids
were received:

C. Green Scaping, LP $407,330.00
M/WBE OFFICE — C. Green Scaping, LP is in compliance with the City's BDE Ordinance by committing to 0.00% MBE participation and
documenting good faith effort. C.Green Scaping, LP identified several subcontracting and supplier opportunities. However, the firms contacted in
the areas identified did not respond or did not submit the lowest bids. The City's MBE goal on this project is 7%. Additionally, C. Green Scaping,
LP is a certified M/WBE.
The City reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities of individual pay items within the contract provided that the total contract amount
remains within plus or minus 25 percent of the contract award.
This project is located in COUNCIL DISTRICTS 7 and 9.
FISCAL INFORMATION / CERTIFICATION:
The Director of Finance certifies that funds will be available contingent on the approval of the Fiscal Year 2020 capital budget appropriation of
the General Capital Projects Fund. Funding is anticipated to be available shortly after October 1, 2019. Prior to any expenditure being incurred,
the Transportation and Public Works Department has the responsibility to validate the availability of funds.
