The council needs to take unanimous action to remove Mr.
Steele from his position on the HRC to send a message that
such bigotry has no place in Fort Worth. It is a disgrace that a
known racist and bigot was on HRC for so long, and that the
council cares so little about the mission of HRC to know.

must be unanimous from this city council. It is a sad reflection
of this councils priorities that Mr. Steele was able to serve AND
be renominated by this council since 2015. His views have not
been hidden and complaints have been ignored. If y'all really is
to mean all, there's only one action this council can take

I support the removal of Mike Steele from the HRC. He shouldn't
have been a member of it in the first place. As soon as concerns
were raised by others in the past about his bigoted statements,
he should have been removed. He doesn't support the HRC's
mission & doesn't make Ft. Worth more inclusive.

I oppose the proposed zoning change which would allow more

neighborhood commercial uses since it is adjacent to a

is an industrial area further south on 820 that would fit more
appropriately with this type business, and would not encroach
on people's homes and daily traffic routes on busy Brentwood
Stair and Meadowbrook intersections. When we studied the
proposed site plan submitted to the Zoning Commission, the
buffer zones were inaccurately exaggerated, and the number of
total trailer slot spaces available for transport/parking is
extremely under reported (not 74, but more like 415).
