My family is happy Fort Worth is installing a Police Monitor and
Office of Police Oversight, and we would like to see it succeed.
Thus, we'd like to see at least twice the current funding allotted
to this office, to fund more staff to make this an independent,
functional part of Fort Worth.

I urge the Mayor and Council NOT to lowball the budget item
For the Community Police Oversight Review Board. Create a fully
staffed, fully funded, genuinely independent, robust review
board.

Providing more staff and funding than you currently propose will
pay dividends in the future.

Please reevaluate the less costly, practical alternatives presented
by AHNA TAG.Please revisit the $350k total claim numbers over
30+ years. Where does the city see support for this project? I
believe this is a continued uncivil use of taxpayer dollars. The
community opposition far outweighs support

Flood damage dollar amounts reported at these homes don't
warrant spending millions of dollars for a drainage project that
won't stop flood water from coming down here and is very
objectionable to majority of adjacent property owners. Flawed
remedy, bad use of tax dollars, bad for neighborhood.

Other parts of city (including 5 blocks to west of this) flood as
severely and as often as this area. Why don't they get the same
attention? Upstream profileration of impervious surfaces must be
better regulated. Work with citizens to find more acceptable and
affordable remedies than teardowns.

More than 70% of this block of Carleton is opposed to
teardowns. They're incredulous the City is moving forward. Don't
take these homes off the tax rolls and add to City's liabilities.
Offer other options besides teardowns to property owners who
flood, like rebates for flood proofing or elevating.
