Where does the city see support for this project? I believe this is a continued uncivil use of taxpayer dollars. The community opposition far outweighs support Li ror II Haamst Li unaeaaea Flood damage dollar amounts reported at these homes don't warrant spending millions of dollars for a drainage project that won't stop flood water from coming down here and is very objectionable to majority of adjacent property owners. Why don't they get the same attention? Upstream profileration of impervious surfaces must be better regulated. Work with citizens to find more acceptable and affordable remedies than teardowns. They're incredulous the City is moving forward. Don't take these homes off the tax rolls and add to City's liabilities. Offer other options besides teardowns to property owners who flood, like rebates for flood proofing or elevating.
