The purpose of this Informal Report is to show the diversity breakdown for both current Fort Worth Police
Department academy classes: LEO (Law Enforcement Officer Lateral) and recruit class.
LEO class #6 began on July 22, 2019, with 19 students.

Recruit class #146 began on August 19, 2019, with 48 students. Since then, we lost two recruits. The
physical exercise portion was too demanding for one recruit and the other recruit was a nurse who did not
want to let go of his nursing job. Both recruits who left were white males.
