EXECUTIVE SESSION
CITY COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM

A. The City Council will conduct a closed meeting in order to discuss matters permitted by the
following sections of Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code:
CITY ATTORNEY
1. Section 551.071, CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY
To seek the advice of its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation, settlement
offers, or any matter in which the duty of the attorney to the City Council under the Texas
Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with
the Texas Open Meetings Act. [Tex. Govt. Code §551.071]:
a. Legal issues concerning Town of Northlake v. City of Justin, Supreme
Court of Texas Case Number: 18-0651;
b. Legal issues concerning City of Fort Worth v. The George Beggs Trust, et
al., Cause No. CIV-18-0577, in the County Court at Law No. 1, Parker
County, Texas;
c. Legal issues concerning the application of an event for the Events Trust
Fund under Chapter 480 of the Texas Government Code;
d. Legal issues concerning Joel F. Fitzgerald, Sr. v. City of Fort Worth, Texas,
Cause No. DC-19-08184, in the 191s' District Judicial District Court of
Dallas County, Texas; and
e. Legal issues concerning any item listed on today's City Council meeting
agenda.

Section 551.072, DELIBERATIONS REGARDING REAL PROPERTY
Deliberate the purchase, sale, lease or value of real property where deliberation in an
open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the City in negotiations
with a third party.
2. Section 551.087, DELIBERATIONS REGARDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
NEGOTIATIONS
Deliberate the commercial or financial information or the offer of a financial or other
incentive to a business prospect.
B. The City Council may reconvene in open session in the City Council Conference Room and
act on any item listed on the Executive Session Agenda in accordance with Chapter 551 of
the Texas Government Code.
The specified location of the Executive Session is the location at which the presiding officer will be physically
present and presiding over the meeting and at which a quorum of the City Council will be present. Council Member
Allen Gray may individually participate remotely by videoconference in accordance with state law and the City
Council Rules of Procedure.
