AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 50 FOOT
POI2,TION OF A 1.6 FOOT WIDE ALLEY SITUATED ADJACENT TO
LOTS 9 AND 11.R IN BLOCK 27 OF THE FACTORY PLACE ADDITION
AS RECORDED BY THE PLAT FILED IN VOLUME ~04A, PAGE 1.00,
DEED RECORDS, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS AND CONTAINING
APPROXIMATELY 800 SQUARE FEET, MORE OR LESS; PROVIDING
FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, PROVIDING TIIAT THE
CITE' SHALL RETAIN ALL EXISTING UTILITIES; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE BATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF Fd3RT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That an appraxiraately SO foot portion of a 1& foot wide alley containing approximately
800 square feet, and being adjacent to Lats 9 wild 11R, of Blotlc 27 of the Factory Place Addition,
as recorded by the plat filed in Volume 204-A, Page 100, Tweed Retards, Tarrant County, Texas
.and containing approximately 800 square feet, more ar less, and as more specifically described in
Attachments "1 ", " 2" and °`3" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the
same is vacated and extinguished.

That the easement to the land in the above-described vacated alley is hereby released and
shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
All existing utility easement be shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities
located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense.
SECTION 4.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Adopt an Ordinance Vacating a '16' x 50' Portion of an Alley in the Factory Place Addition Adjacent
to Lots 9 and 1 'I R of Block 27
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adapt an ordinance vacating a 16' x 50' portion of an alley in the
Factory Place Addition adjacent to lots 9 and 11 R of Block 27.
DISCUSSION:
Gerry Curtis, on behalf of R M Real Estate of Fart Worth, has requested vacation of the above referenced
right-of--way in order to be replotted as a part of Lot 11R1. The Engineering Department, Real Property
Services Division, states that the administrative fee of $100 has been received. Reviewing City departments
and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. The City Plan Commission
recommended approval of this request at its meeting on December 23, 2005. Any existing utilities will be
relocated at the applicant`s expense or an easement will be retained there for. An acceptable replat has
been received.
This vacation is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9.
