CALL TO ORDER
With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the Special
Called session of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March
26, 2020, in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street,
Fort Worth, Texas.
The following individuals completed comment cards in support of the resolution:
Mr. Lu Toner, 3436 Dryden Road
Ms. Michelle Skillin, 448 Dove Lane
Mr. Gabriel Guess, 4237 Longleaf Lane, appeared before Council via conference call
undecided relative to the ordinance.

The following individuals completed comment cards in support of the ordinance:
Mr. Ernest Armstrong, 1820 Ems Road East
Mr. Fred Jordan, 4536 High Cotton Trail
Mr. Cody Torres, 6812 Randol Mill Road, completed an undecided comment card
relative to the ordinance.
Mr. Brandon Bennett, Code Compliance Director, Fire Chief Jim Davis, Police Chief
Edwin Kraus, Dr. Veer D. Vithalani, MD, FACEP, FAEMS Interim Medical Director for
the Emergency Physicians Advisory Board, provided an update on the current
COVID-19 situation in the City of Fort Worth.
RESOLUTIONS
20-0716 Continuation of Fourth Declaration of Public Health Emergency
Motion: Council Member Shingleton made a motion, seconded by Council Member
Bivens, that Resolution No. 5205-03-2020 be adopted approving the
following amendments: The Declaration of the Public Health Emergency be
amended be continued and extended shall be the Fifth Declaration and the
end date of the Declaration shall be April 7, 2020, to mirror the County's
end date. Motion passed 9-0.
ORDINANCES
20-0717 An Ordinance Adopting Rules to Protect the Health of Persons in the
Municipality, Including Quarantine Rules to Protect the Residents Against
Communicable Disease; and Provide for the Establishment of Quarantine Stations
Motion: Council Member Bivens made a motion, seconded by Council Member
Byrd, that Ordinance No. 24090-03-2030 be adopted. Motion passed 9-0.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Price adjourned the Special Called meeting at
10:27 a.m.
