AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND
APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SEWER CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND IN THE AMOUNT
OF $164,110.00, FROM AVAILABLE FUNDS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SANITARY
SEWER REHABILITATION CONTRACT 87; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABIL[TY
CLAUSE; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 in the
Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the Sewer
Capital Projects Fund in the amount of $164,110.00, from available funds, for the purpose of Sanitary Sewer
Rehabilitation Contract 87.
SECTION 2.
That should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or
void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opiiuon or judgment shall in no way
impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining
provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 2041 1 -09 -20 1 2 and all other ordinances and
appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in
direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions
of said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 4
This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

Sewer Capital Projects Fund;
2. Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations in the
Sewer Capital Projects FunU|ntheomVVn(of$104'110.00fromavai|ab|efunUu; and
3. Authorize the execution of a contract in the amount of $146,1110.00 with Khafra Engineering
Consultants, Inc., for Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Contract 87.
This project consists of the preparation of plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of deteriorated
sewer mains inon area that is generally bound by Interstate Highway 30' Tierney Road, K8eadowbpook
Drive and Edgewood Terrace in Council District 8 and by Berry Street, Edgewood Terrace, Wilbarger
Street and Miller Avenue in Council District 5.
Nbmfna Engineering Consultants, Inc., proposes ho perform the design work for a lump sum fee of
$140.110.00. Staff considers this fee to be fair and reasonable for the scope of services proposed.
Khaha Engineering Consultants, Inc., is in compliance with the M/VVBE ordinance by committing to
Z8 percent M8W8BE participation. The City's goal oDthis project is18percent.

acquisition and utility coordination.
The project is located \n COUNCIL DISTRICTS 5 and 8.
