BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT INTORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City, of Fort V,.,orth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort idorth, said territory being situated in Tarrant COUnty, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: BEINCr a tract <>f land about 8 1/2 miles west from the Courthouse of Tarrant County, Te:yas; lying in and including all or part of the B.B.B. & C. Railroad Co. Survey #229 and being, more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the common city limit line of the City of Fort 'Werth and the Gity of sVihite Settlement, said point being the southeast corner of the, G. Y111hite 5urvey; THENCE west, along the south line of the G. 'hhite Survey a distance of 319.3 feet to the east line of the B.B.B. & C.Railroad Co. Survey #219; TFD7NCE south, along the east line of the B.B.B. &.C. Railroad Co. Survey #219 t(,�s its intersection with tkie north line of the Hays Covington Survey; THENCE east, along the north line of the Hays Covington Survey, to its intersection with the east line of the G. SECTION 2. SIXTION 3. That this ordinance shall be published one time in a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter )a711I of the City Charter. SECIS TION 14. If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, phrase, or word of this ordinance is for any reason held, void or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidit�p shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, subsections, clauses., sentences, phrases or words, except as the same are inseparable from and indiapensable to, the remaining portions of the ordinance. `31P ,ECTION 5.
