With a quorum of the City Council Members present, Mayor Price called the regular
session of the Fort Worth City Council to order at 3:04 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2020,
in the City Council Chamber of the Fort Worth City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth,
Texas.

Cultural Landmarks Commission effective June 4, 2020, and to complete
the unexpired term of Mr. William Canady ending October 1, 2021. Motion

Motion: Mayor Pro tem Jordan made a motion, seconded by Council Member
Shingleton, that M&C 20-0356 be approved.
Council Member Zadeh made a substitute motion, seconded by Council
Member Bivens, that M&C be continued to the August 4, 2020, Council
meeting. Motion passed 7-2 with Mayor Pro tem Jordan and Council
Member Moon casting the dissenting votes.
3. M&C 20-0339 Authorize Execution of an Agreement with Fort Worth Convention
and Visitors Bureau d/b/a Visit Fort Worth and B.A.S.S., LLC, to Host the 2021
Bassmaster Classic for a Fee of $500,000.00 and Rental Credits of Up to
$100,000.00 for the Use of the Will Rogers Memorial Center, and Find that the
Obligations of the City to Host this Event Serve a Public Purpose (ALL
COUNCIL DISTRICTS)
Motion: Council Member Byrd made a motion, seconded by Council Member
Moon, that M&C 20-0339 be approved. Motion passed 9-0.
4. M&C 20-0381 Amend Mayor and Council Communication 20-0345 to Adopt
Resolution Expressing Intent to Reimburse Expenditures with Proceeds of Future
Revenue Bond Issuance for the Water and Sewer Fund for City Participation in a
Community Facilities Agreement with HT HWY 114 Development LP for the
Water Mains Serving the Tradition Central Development and Anticipated Future
Growth in North Fort Worth (COUNCIL DISTRICT 7)
Motion: Council Member Shingleton made a motion, seconded by Council
Member Flores, that M&C 20-0381 be approved and Resolution No.
5238-06-2020 be adopted. Motion passed 9-0.
5. M&C 20-0357 Authorize Execution of a Five -Year Tax Abatement Agreement
with Mayra Estrada for the Construction of a Single -Family Dwelling of
Approximately 1,045 Square Feet and Having a Cost of at Least $96,000.00 on
Property Located at 4229 S. Henderson Street in the Rosemont Neighborhood and
Neighborhood Empowerment Zone and Reinvestment Zone Area Six (COUNCIL
DISTRICT 9)
Motion: It was the consensus of the City Council that M&C 20-0357 be
continued to the August 4, 2020, Council meeting.
