AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF
MARTIN LYDON AVENUE AND WARREN STREET, LOCATED MARIA
AROCHA SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 1 IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 152,205
SQUARE FEET OR 3.494 ACRES OF LAND, PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; PROVIDING THAT THE CITY
SHALL RETAIN ALL EXISTING UTILITIES EASEMENTS; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That all of Warren Street (a variable width right -of -way) and part of Martin Lydon
Avenue (a 60 -foot wide right -of -way) situated in the Maria Arocha Survey, Abstract No. 1,
Tarrant County, Texas and located in Seminary Hill, an addition to the City of Fort Worth,
according to the plat recorded in Volume 388 -116, Page 30 of the Deed Records of Tarrant
County, and containing approximately 152, 205 square feet or3.494 acres of land more or less,
and as more specifically described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the easement to the land in the above- described vacated street right of way is hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law.

SECTION 3.
All existing utility easement be shall be retained by the City until such time all utilities
located in that easement are relocated at the owner's expense.
SECTION 4.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repeated.
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon the acceptance by the City of the replat of the
property. It is the intent of the City to repeal this ordinance vacating the above-described street if
the replat is not accepted by the City on or before December 31, 2012.
