Authorize the use of funds in the amounts of $2,558,334.00 and $4,950,951.00 for the 2018 Water and Sewer Maintenance Capital Improvement Plan Year 2, Contract 4 and the 2019 Water Line and Sanitary Sewer Replacement projects; 2. Adopt the attached Appropriation Ordinance, adjusting receipts and appropriations in the Water Capital Fund by increasing receipts and appropriations in the 2018 Water and Sewer Maintenance Capital Improvement Plan Year 2, Contract 4 project (City Project No. 101451) in the amount of $2,558,334.00, and decreasing receipts and appropriations in the Unspecified project by the same amount; and 3. Adopt the attached Appropriation Ordinance, adjusting receipts and appropriations in the Water Capital Fund by increasing receipts and appropriations in the 2019 Water Line and Sanitary Sewer Replacement project (City Project No. 102170) in the amount of $4,950,951.00, and decreasing receipts and appropriations in the Unspecified project (City Project No. UNSPEC) by the same amount. DISCUSSION: On August 11, 2020, Mayor and Council Communications (M&Cs) 20-0541 and 20-0542, the City Council authorized the execution of construction contracts with Woody Contractors, Inc. for the 2018 CIP Year 2 Contract 4 project and Jackson Construction, Ltd. for the 2019 Water Line and Sanitary Sewer Replacement WSM-C project. The purpose of this M&C is to adopt appropriation ordinances that were inadvertently omitted from the original M&C's. The projects are located in Council Districts 2 and 7. A Form 1295 is not required because: This M&C does not request approval of a contract with a business entity. FISCAL INFORMATION / CERTIFICATION: The Director of Finance certifies that funds are currently available in the Unspecified project within the Water Capital Fund and upon approval of the above recommendations and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinances, funds will be available in the Water Capital Fund for the 2019 WSM-C and 2018 WSM-C and CIP Contract 4 projects.
