The available fund balance (reserves) and previously unapplied revenue receipts will be transferred to the General Capital Projects Fund within the Traffic System Maintenance project (City Project No. P00021), for traffic safety programs, including pedestrian safety programs, public safety programs, intersection improvements and traffic enforcement as allowed in the Transportation Code 707.008(a)(2). The action in this M&C is not included in the FY2021-2025 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and will update the existing programmable project in FY2021 of the CIP. A Form 1295 is not required because: This M&C does not request approval of a contract with a business entity. FISCAL INFORMATION / CERTIFICATION: The Director of Finance certifies that funds are currently available within the Red Light Enforcement Program Fund and upon approval of the above recommendations and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinances, funds will be available in the General Capital Projects Fund for the Traffic System Maintenance programmable project. Prior to an expenditure being incurred, the Transportation & Public Works Department has the responsibility of verifying the availability of funds. Submitted for City Manager's Office by.
